Baby music sessions are held in carpeted, warm, clean environments. They are a wonderful way to meet other parents with similar age children. Babies are welcome from birth - but you will probably have to wait until about 10 weeks to get an obvious physical reaction from your child (unless you count sleeping!)
Here is what other parents have said about my baby music sessions:
"after music yesterday, Sarah was outside on the lawn when she picked up and started playing with the garden hose just like she would the "Rainbow Ring" and began singing baa baa baa. I thought it was really awesome, specially since at music she always seems too busy crawling around to be listening !! Just had to share with you - thanks Julie"
“The classes are small and age appropriate,
All the materials and instruments are regularly cleaned using only Eco Store products. No nasty chemicals, synthetic fragrances, or harsh abrasives. |

Each class we start with our name song and a small drum solo, then we have a bounce on mummy or daddy's knee. Then we might play with maracas, beat drums, tango with teddies, bounce our frogs or watch the parachute billow and sway. In fact we do so many things that we are ready for our nap when the clock says "tick tock, it's time to say goodbye" to us all one by one. |
Each session I hear my name, and I know Julie is pleased to see me and I learn my friends have names too. When I am bounced my vestibular system gets stimulated. I get to use my gross and fine motor to play the instruments and holding onto the rainbow ring is an important first step to learning to hold a pen later. If I sing along Julie imitates me and I feel good knowing I made an important contribution to the class. I am so proud I will probably do it again. I learn to take turns, and to give back the instruments when the activity is over. |
